Something Different on the Same Project

There’s been a bit of exciting news recently. saddog has seemingly revived the project, releasing 0.9.5 and 0.9.6 in a short span of a few months after a few years of radio silence.

However, this doesn’t mean I’m going to give up on the project. If anything, I think with the project revival, some of my old criticisms of the narrative direction are further reinforced with it. So I’m still trucking away at the project.

This past weekend was largely spent listening to music tracks to pair with the audio of the game, whether it was for the main menu or parts of the story that are taking place.

I will have to admit. This scene below took me a disproportionate amount of time to set up the environment. I do wonder if anyone will get a chuckle out of it though…

That said, I’ve recently been playing with the tonemapper settings, the first image in this post having partially implemented the God Rays tutorial from renderguide: https://renderguide.com/daz3d-god-rays-lighting-tutorial/

I’ve also experimented more with a concept of persistent-data determined main menu screens, which I’ve been working on creating the renders for, be they default, vanilla, or ntr.

So this has been a bit inspiring and fun to do the work for. My goal for this is to get a small working demo for this scene I’ve been working on out by the end of 2024. I should have the link posted here when it’s completed, and I am definitely looking forward to hearing the feedback from some of my playtesters.
